Actress Lupita Nyongo writing book about colourism

Lupita Nyongo has spoken powerfully about discrimination against darker skin and now she is writing a book about it.
The Academy award-winning actress will write the book Star.
The book, which will be aimed at children ages five to seven, will tell the story of a five year old girl growing up in Kenya who struggles with having the darkest skin tone in her family.
Nyongo said that she too had struggled with her complexion.
Nyongo's book is expected to be published in January 2019.
