Brazil's football body grateful for Jamaican support

A video of Jamaican fans of the Brazilian football team has caught the attention of the Brazilian Football Confederation.

The Confederation has taken to social media to thank Jamaican fans who have continuously pledged support to the South American country during the course of the World Cup.

Last week, a throng of Jamaican supporters jubilantly marched through the streets of Trench Town, Kingston.

The mini-motorcade occurred following Brazil's win over CONCACAF team Mexico.

Supporters were seen waving flags and clad in various renditions of the famous Brazilian kit.

Even with a national football team, the Reggae Boyz, Jamaicans have over the decades been supportive of the Brazilian team.

The five-time winners of the quadrennial tournament will play Belgium at 1:00 pm on Friday in their quarter-final matchup, which will be broadcast on TVJ and Hitz92FM.
