Film producer Alain Bidard, who is a participant in the project, will present his animated series called 'Battledream Chronicle'.
Three of the Caribbean’s leading film producers are to develop pilots for their original TV series projects, with funding from Flow and CaribbeanTales Media Group.
The series are; Battledream Chronicle, a sci-fi/drama animated series created by Alain Bidard; Heat, a crime/drama series filmed in Barbados from iconic filmmaker Menelik Shabazz: and Caribbean Girl NYC, an ensemble female-driven sitcom from NY-based Guadeloupe filmmaker/producer Mariette Monpierre, who is known for the award-winning film Elza.
Production on the pilots will begin in April.
They will premier later this year at the twelfth annual CaribbeanTales International Film Festival (CTFF).
The festival will be held in Toronto, Canada between September 6 and September 20.
