Celebs join Security Ministry's 'We Transform' programme

A number of entertainers and local celebrities have come out in support of a Ministry of National Security and Department of Correctional Services' initiative dubbed Save a child - Change a Nation, as part of the We Transform programme.

The programme has attracted the support of beauty queen Kaci Fennel Shirley, Gospel singer Jermaine Edwards and Deejay Agent Sasco lending their time to provide much-needed mentorship.

The initiative is expected to make a lasting impact on the 242 children, ages 12 to 17, currently in juvenile correctional facilities across the island.

The main aim is to develop self-worth and self-esteem among the youngsters in an effort to have them reintegrated into society without reoffending.
