The Minister of Culture and Entertainment Olivia Grange has congratulated Kadijah Robinson for her stellar showing in the Miss World pageant in Sanya, China.
Robinson, who is a physiotherapist at the Black River hospital in St. Elizabeth, finished in the top five of the competition and was also crowned Miss World Caribbean.
Minister Grange said she was simply amazing and a true ambassador of Jamaica's rich cultural heritage.
Robinson will reportedly be a part of the Beauty with A Purpose tour.
The Miss World pageant was created in Britain in 1951 and is the oldest surviving major international beauty contest.
