Jamaican vocalist Dann-I has signed a three-year contract with WDG Records, an Atlanta-based music label.
Dann-I has been making a name for himself with songs like Uncle Come and When She High.
The deal follows Dann-I's move to seek representation by the New York-based Donsome Booking Agency earlier this year.
Dann-I is slated to perform in Canada in September, after which he will travel to South America in October and Europe in November.
Dann-I gained popularity as a member of the group Q. They group claimed the fifth spot in the 2005 season of Digicel Rising Stars.
