Final Festival Queen parish coronations set for this weekend

The last four parishes, Clarendon, Westmoreland, Manchester and Trelawny will host their coronations this Saturday and Sunday, in the hunt for the 2018 Miss Jamaica Festival Queen.

These four parishes will join the other nine that have already crowned their most intelligent, culturally-aware, poised and empowered contestants, who will represent their parishes at the national coronation in August.

Saturday is the Clarendon coronation at Glenmuir High School, May Pen, as well as the Westmoreland coronation at Sean Lavery Faith Hall, Savanna-La-Mar. Both contests will begin at 8 p.m.

On Sunday, the Manchester queen will be crowned at Bishop Gibson High School, Mandeville, at 7 p.m., while the Trelawny finals will take place at Falmouth Cruise Port, Falmouth, beginning at 8 p.m.
