Rapper Kanye West, who has been a vocal supporter of US President Donald Trump, has said he is distancing himself from politics after denying he was linked to a campaign known as "Blexit".
Run by Conservative commentator Candace Owens, "Blexit" encourages black Americans to stop supporting the Democratic party.
Owens reportedly claimed the musician had designed clothing for the campaign, something which the rapper has now denied.
In a series of tweets, the rapper said he is being used to spread messages he does not believe in.
He added that his eyes are now wide open and he will completely be focusing on being creative.
