Dancehall entertainer Mavado has responded to reports the Constant Spring police are currently investigating a shooting involving him.
The Jamaica Constabulary Force's Corporate Communications Unit, had reported that an altercation developed between Mavado and another man, while the entertainer was in Cassava Piece, St. Andrew on Saturday morning.
The police said the man with whom the deejay was arguing left the scene and later returned with a firearm and opened fire at the entertainer.
The man is reportedly in police custody.
Posting on his Instagram page on Monday, Mavado alluded to rumors in the media and gave a 'shout-out' to the Cassava Piece community.
