The Kansas City Chiefs' 31-20 victory over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday in Super Bowl LIV in Miami drew 102 million.
The number is up 1.3 per cent from last year's 100.7 million viewers.
The small ratings gain also carried over to the Super Bowl halftime, headlined by Jennifer Lopez and Shakira.
It averaged 103 million viewers, up four per cent from last year's half-time Maroon 5 performance.
The pre-game show drew 21.6 million viewers, the best since 2016.
On social media, there were 43.9 million total interactions across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter regarding Super Bowl LIV.
