R. Kelly
R. Kelly is being criminally investigated in Georgia following the airing of a Lifetime's docuseries about alleged abuses on women carried out by the singer.
Sources connected to the case say the Fulton County District Attorney's Office has opened an investigation into allegations made against the singer in Surviving R. Kelly.
The probe was launched over the last few days as a direct result of what the docuseries depicted.
Investigators have reportedly been reaching out to several survivors featured in the TV project.
They have been asking for contact information from others who have lived in Kelly's former Atlanta home or have direct knowledge of what happened in the home.
The investigators have been flooded with calls since the docuseries aired.
The district attorney has refused to comment.
