The entertainment fraternity was well represented at Monday's presentation of the National Honours and Awards at King's House.
Among those honoured was recording artiste and member of the vocal trio The I-Threes, Rita Marley.
She was presented with the Order of Jamaica for her contribution to the popularisation of Jamaican music on the world stage and for humanitarian work through her foundation.
Veteran Music producer Gussie Clarke, Grammy-winning dancehall artiste Sean Paul and curator of the Jamaica Music Museum and historian Herbie Miller were all awarded the Order of Distinction in the rank of Commander.
Renowned actor Glen 'Titus' Campbell received the Order of Distinction in the rank of Officer, alongside musician Desi Jones, music producer and promoter Patrick Roberts and dancer and choreographer Tony Wilson.
A posthumous award was also presented to former lead singer of the Inner Circle Band Jacob Miller, while founding members of Inner Circle band, brothers Roger and Ian Lewis, were awarded Order of Distinction in the rank of Officer.
The event featured entertainment by Stephen Marley and saxophonist Dean Frazer.
