Solange Sinclair was on Saturday night crowned Miss Jamaica World 2017.
The 24 year old edged out 17 other contestants for the title and a $1 million cash prize. She was also judged the most congenial contestant.
Diedre McKenzie was placed second and additionally awarded the sectional prize for Beauty with a Purpose.
Social media favourite Jeneque Pinnock was third and was given an award for being the most aware.
Police constable Sasha Henry who finished on the top five of the competiton was awarded top model.
Entertainment came from Nesbeth and Romain Virgo.
Sinclair will now represent Jamaica at the Miss World Pageant on November 18 in Sanya, China.
