St. Elizabeth celebrates Black River Day

Friday marks the sixth annual celebration of Black River Day in St. Elizabeth.
The event includes a float parade featuring marching bands, uniformed groups and community groups. 
There will also be a wide variety of Jamaican dishes at the featured food court.
Additional entertainment will come by way of on-stage performances from Vershon, Gage, Laden and Wayne Marshall, as well as Admiral Tibet, George Nooks and Lt. Stitchie.
A Kiddies Village and health fair will also be a part of the days activities.
