Jamaican sprint sensation Veronica Campbell Brown on Tuesday announced her pregnancy via Instagram.
This is the first child for Veronica and husband Omar.
Photos from her maternity shoot were posted on her official account along with a message indicating her uncertainty about returning to track after the birth of their baby.
Campbell Brown, 36, is an eight-time Olympic medallist.
She is the latest high-profile Jamaican athlete to take a break from track & field to have a child.
Sprinters Shelly-Ann Fraser Pryce gave birth of her son, Zyon Pryce, in August 2017 and Sherone Simpson had a baby girl in 2016.
American sprinter Allyson Felix had a baby on November 28, last year.
