Vybz Kartel the most streamed Jamaican entertainer on YouTube

As the year draws to a close, YouTube's top streaming numbers have come in for members of the dancehall fraternity.

Incarcerated deejay Vybz Kartel remains in the top spot as the most streamed entertainer out of Jamaica.

Montego-based entourage 6ix had a tremendous year with Chronic Law and Squash landing in the top five most streamed acts.

Both entertainers have outdone Masicka and Popcaan, who are out of the top five this year.

Others in the top ten most streamed are Alkaline, Teejay, Tommy Lee Sparta, Dexta Daps and the lone female Shenseea.

While dancehall continues to create the most buzz on YouTube, it was reggae singer Koffee's international hit song Toast which was the most streamed song from Jamaica.

Tommy Lee's 'Blessing' is in the number two spot with Teejay's Owna Lane, Kartel's Any Weather and Squash's Beat Dem Bad rounding out the top five.
