Wednesday is World Heritage Day

Wednesday is to be be celebrated as World Heritage Day.
 
The Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport is joining forces with the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts and will celebrate the day, focusing on the Blue and Johncrow Mountains. 
 
The event is slated for 4 p.m., at the Art Stock on Arthur Wint Drive in St. Andrew.
 
The International Day for Monuments and Sites (World Heritage Day) is held on April 18 each year around the world with various types of activities, including visits to monuments and heritage sites, conferences, round tables and newspaper articles.
 
This year's theme is Heritage for Generations.
