Youtube launches live TV service

YouTube has launched its live television service in limited markets.
    
The service, YouTube TV, is now available in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago and Philadelphia.
     
For US$35 per month, subscribers will have access to live television programming from more than 50 networks including ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox and ESPN.
    
Showtime and Fox Soccer Plus are available for an additional charge.
    
YouTube TV is the culmination of several years of work at the Google-owned company and represents a radical shift in the company's business.
    
To entice new users, YouTube is offering a free trial for 30 days.
    
YouTube says that YouTube TV will become available in more markets.
