LIAT is owned by the governments of Antigua & Barbuda, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, Barbados, and Dominica.
Last month, Mr. Browne also wrote to the other shareholder governments, urging a temporary halt on plans for a voluntary separation package that could result in more than 150 employees being removed from the airline's payroll.
