Caribbean Airlines Cargo has formed an alliance with ground transport handlers Forward Air, to facilitate the trucking of large volume cargo from New York and Fort Lauderdale to the airline's Cargo Hub in Miami, for shipments into the Caribbean.
Commenting on the alliance, Chief Executive Officer Garvin Medera said customers shipping cargo to the Caribbean out of New York and Fort Lauderdale can now do so at one flat rate with no capacity restrictions.
Caribbean Airlines Cargo Freighter Service operates on weekdays.
