Mayberry, the lead broker in Caribbean Assurance Brokers Initial Public Offer (IPO), is reporting that the offer closed one minute after it opened on Tuesday.
It was oversubscribed.
Caribbean Assurance offered 52.5 million shares at $1.91 cents each.
Mayberry said the company has made an application to list the shares on the Junior Market of the Jamaica Stock Exchange.
