Charges dropped against Dub Club owner

All charges have been dropped against 47 year old events promoter and proprietor of the Dub Club, Karlyle Lee, following a recent incident involving the police at the establishment.
Mr. Lee, along with Rahay Mooyan, appeared in the St. Andrew Parish Court on Friday morning after they were charged with breaches of the Noise Abatement Act, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and use of indecent language.
The charges were dropped after the prosecution revealed that the Police Permit to host a reggae event at Dub Club was issued on April 23.

It was reported that patrons were pepper sprayed by the police after stones and other missiles were allegedly thrown at them.
