Michael Bernard , past president of the Shipping Association of Jamaica is first vice president; while second vice president is Raymond Eytle, the senior assistant registrar at the University of the West Indies.

The new JEF executive will serve until July 2014.

The Jamaica Employers' Federation represents the views of employers in the Jamaican tri-partite movement, the other two partners being the government and the employees (largely through their trade unions). Such collaborative efforts include the development of new legislation governing industrial relations and other workplace issues.

On its website, the JEF says it offers a range of services such as learning and HRD services, which include customized training courses, certificate courses, management training seminars and workshops, among other things.
