Excelsior Community College to launch its business incubator

Excelsior Community College will shortly be launching its first business incubator, the Excelsior Community College Business Incubator (ECCBI), a hub for student entrepreneurs.
The incubator will provide group support for the successful development of start-up and young growing businesses.
Mrs. Gwyneth Jackson, head of the School of Business & Entrepreneurial Studies, says in keeping with the College's Strategic Plan and Vision 2030, ECCBI's main goal is to produce successful businesses that will leave the incubator financially viable and self supporting.
She added that these incubator business graduates will create jobs, revitalize communities, commercialise new technologies and strengthen local and national economies, helping to make Jamaica, the place of choice to live, work, raise families and do business.
