Fly Jamaica secures approval for second plane

Fly Jamaica has been given regulatory approval to operate a second aircraft.
    
The inaugural flight of the new aircraft left on Thursday morning from Norman Manley International Airport for JFK International  in New York. 
    
Commercial Manager, Marketing and Sales at Fly Jamaica, Suzette Smellie confirmed, in an interview for RJR's Financial Report that the airline had received regulatory approval from both the Jamaica Civil Aviation Authority and the US Federal Aviation Administration.

As a result, she said the airline was now in a position to "start doing business" with the additional plane.
