Fontana sees decline in profit in second quarter

Fontana suffered a decline in profit for the second quarter ended December 31 - falling by $7.6 million to $131.8 million.

However, revenues for the three months came in at $1.22 billion, which represented an increase of 8.6 per cent over 2017.

Expenses increased by 9.6 per cent.

Fontana says the increase is mainly attributed to spending carried out to strengthen the management team and infrastructure.
