Today, Monday, December 15, is the due date for companies and self-employed persons to pay the fourth instalment of their quarterly estimated Income Tax for 2014.
Additionally, employers are advised that since the due date for this month’s statutory payroll deductions was yesterday, they must submit their S01 return today.
Tax Administration Jamaica says employers who declare and pay their S01 on time can benefit from the Employment Tax Credit.
This allows employers, who are engaged in a trade, profession or vocation, to claim a credit against income tax.
