Technology Minister Dr. Andrew Wheatley, who says all 256 government websites are zero-rated, has explained that this means users can browse the sites without incurring Internet service charges once they have connection, either through a smartphone or Wi-Fi.
According to Wheatley, complimentary access is being provided in partnership with telecommunications companies, Digicel and Flow.
The Minister signed an agreement with both companies which affords Jamaicans the opportunity to interact with the government using technology.
