IMF boss Christine Lagarde to visit Jamaica next week

Christine Lagarde, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), is expected to meet with a number of local groups, including women leaders when she visits Jamaica next Thursday.
The managing director will be in Kingston for the Western Hemisphere Department's annual Caribbean Forum, which convenes leaders, finance ministers, central bank governors, and private sector executives.
This year's forum, which will be held at the University of the West Indies, Mona, is entitled: "Unleashing Growth and Strengthening Resilience in the Caribbean".
The managing director will also have a series of official meetings with Jamaican officials, including Prime Minister Andrew Holness.
