Increase in tourist arrivals for January

Jamaica recorded a 9 per cent increase in tourist arrivals in January.
Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett says figures from the Jamaica Tourist Board reveal that the country had 202,192  visitors last month.
Between January 1 to 31 Montego Bay welcomed 173,745 visitors.
This was an 8.2 per cent increase over the same period in 2018. 
Kingston had a 14 per cent increase with a record 28,447 visiting the city last month.
