Human resources shared services in the public sector is expected to be operational by the end of the current financial year.
This was stated in a message from Fayval Williams, Minister without Portfolio in the Ministry of Finance and the Public Service, at a human resources transformation seminar held Wednesday in New Kingston.
The process is already underway through the phased introduction of the Human Capital Management Enterprise System, which has been named MyHR+.
The integrated human resources and payroll platform captures a range of employment information of personnel across the public sector, and represents a significant step in how human resources is managed.
At present, 10 ministries, departments and agencies have fully implemented MyHR+.
The system is to be installed in all other entities.
