Travel website Expedia says two Jamaican destinations had significant increases in package demand during the third quarter of 2018 compared to the same period in 2017.
According data presented by Expedia at the Caribbean Travel Marketplace in Jamaica, Montego Bay and Ocho Rios recorded growth of nearly 40 per cent and close to nine per cent.
San Juan, Puerto Rico recorded an increase of over 360 per cent as the country recovered from the devastating hurricanes of 2017.
Other destinations such as Punta Cana, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta and Aruba recorded double digit growth.
