Jamaican Teas records increase in domestic sales

Jamaican Teas says third quarter sales grew strongly as domestic sales of its products rose 47 percent.

The company said the performance helped to push profit for the quarter to J$25 million.
    

For the full nine months of its financial year to the end of June, Jamaican Teas says its profit was J$75 million.

The company was formerly known as Tetley Tea Company (Jamaica) Limited and changed its name to Jamaican Teas Limited in November 2009.

Jamaican Teas Limited was founded in 1967 .
