JMMB announced on Wednesday that it had raised US$20m in a private placement of unsecured notes.
The financial services firm said the offer to raise the money closed on July 18 and will be repaid in full in two years time.
JMMB said however if the investors want to, they could extend the redemption period to 2019 and get a higher rate of return.
The company did not indicate what the funds will be used for.
