JN apologises for references about Iran, US made in cyber security advisory

The Jamaica National Group has apologised for and withdrawn references it made to the Iranian government and people, and the US Government, in the cyber security advisory, it issued on Tuesday.
In the advisory, the JN group said there is a heightened risk of cyber-attacks from hackers affiliated with the Iranian government, which has vowed to retaliate against the United States for its recent attack.
In the statement Wednesday withdrawing the comments, JN group reiterated that its customers should exercise increased vigilance when using email communications at this time as there is increased malicious cyber activities online.
