JSE Index advances by 1,853 points

In Tuesday's trading session, the JSE Index advanced by 1,853 points, to close at 194,129.
   
The JSE Junior Market Index declined by 12 points, to close at 2,581.
    
There was trading in 36 stocks, of which 13 advanced, 16 declined and seven traded firm.
    
Jamaica Broilers Group was the volume leader, followed by 138 Student Living and Cable & Wireless.
