JSE Index declines by 1,164 points

In Tuesday's trading session, the JSE Index declined by 1,164 points, to close at 165,081 points.     
    
The Junior Market Index declined by 30 points, to close at 2,345 points.
    
There was trading in 41 stocks, of which 16 advanced, 19 declined and six traded firm.      
    
JMMB Group's 7.50% was the volume leader, followed by Lasco Manufacturing and Mayberry Investments.
