JSE records profit increase

The Jamaica Stock Exchange recorded an increase in profit during the quarter ended September 30.
 
It made $102 million   net profit which was a 115 per cent or $54.8 million   higher than last year.
 
The JSE's total income during the three months amounted to 339-point-5 million dollars versus $217.8 million.
in 2017.
 
 The Stock Exchange saw an increase in the trading of  securities which resulted in cess income being a major contributor to its financial results.
