Shares in Lasco Financial Services jumped to $2.87 after it opened at $2.50 per share on Tuesday.
That is a gain of 15%.
Lasco Distributors gained $0.02 to end trading at $2.52 while Lasco Manufacturing traded firm at $2.50.
All three Lasco companies were listed on the Junior Stock Exchange Tuesday morning after a successful Initial Public Offering in which was oversubscribed.
The Jamaica Stock Exchange says more than 1,000 new investors have been introduced to the stock market with Tuesday's listing of three Lasco companies.
Tuesday's listing brings to six the number of companies listed on the Junior Stock Market.
Marlene Street-Forrest, General Manager of the Jamaica Stock Exchange, said this has led to increased buoyancy in the equities market.
