LIME to slash mobile internet rates

Telecommunications company – LIME plans to  slash mobile internet charges by as much as 88 % as of Friday.

The telecoms company has announced the introduction of four new packages for consumers, running from J$300 to J$1,500  per month.

The reduction is aimed at pushing internet access among Jamaicans.

 Economic research shows that for an increase by 10% in access to the internet, the economy of a country grows by approximately 1%.
