Regional conglomerate, Massy, formerly known as Neal and Massy, says the positive performance of its Jamaican operations helped to boost revenue for the nine months ending June 30.
Earnings increased by 12.8% or $900m to $7.9b.
Revenue from Barbados contracted three percent while Massy managed to grow revenue in Jamaica by 17.7%.
Profit for the period before rebranding costs and income tax increased by 3% reaching $617m.
Massy is now poised to benefit from synergies created from increased brand awareness, customer loyalty and a more integrated group, particularly in its sales and distribution operations.
