More than 4,200 people find jobs using LMIS

Since the upgrading of Jamaica's Labour Market Information System (LMIS), more than 4,200 persons have found jobs.
It also attracted 1,300 employers and 23,000 job seekers.
Zavia Mayne, State Minister in the Ministry of Labour, made the disclosure while delivering the keynote address at the launch of the system's website and mobile application this week.
He said the LMIS has become a national employment portal, with career practitioners and educators now using it to make informed decisions.
