NIR declines due to interventions in foreign exchange market

Interventions in the foreign exchange market in November contributed to a decline in the Net International Reserves (NIR).
 
Bank of Jamaica data show the NIR fell by US$75 million during the month.
 
At the end of  November the reserves were valued at US$3.58 billion which was enough to purchase 33 weeks of imports.
