Oil prices drop by 2%

Oil prices fell more than two per cent on Tuesday on signs that an economic slowdown in China is spreading, stoking concerns about global growth and fuel demand.
U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures were down $1.47, or 2.7 per cent, at $52.33.
