Oil prices edge lower

Oil prices edged lower on Wednesday, extending losses after data showed a weekly rise in U.S. crude supplies and production, along with an unexpected climb in gasoline stockpiles.
April West Texas Intermediate crude shed 97 cents, or 1.6 per cent, to $60.68 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. 
It is trading at its lowest levels since mid-February, after the contract lost roughly 4.8 per cent lower for February. 
That was the first monthly loss since August.
