Oil prices plunge further

Oil prices headed lower on Tuesday, weighed down by the recent stock-market rout, as expectations for further gains in U.S. crude supplies and production dragged prices to multiweek lows.
March West Texas Intermediate crude fell 23 cents, or 0.4 per cent, to $63.92 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
That contract closed at $64.15 on Monday, its lowest finish since January 22.
Brent for April gave up 41 cents, or 0.6 per cent, to $67.21 a barrel after ending Monday at $67.62, a roughly four-week low.
