Oil prices were trading up on Friday, as the Syria standoff shows no signs of abating, assisted in part by an apparent easing of tensions surrounding the China/US trade dispute.
West Texas Intermediate was trading up $0.48 at $67.56, while the Brent benchmark was trading up $0.73 at $72.75.
