There was a one per cent increase in remittance inflows to Jamaica during the first four months of this year.
Net remittance inflows amounted to US$669 million.
That was US$6.9 million higher than the same period last year.
A report from the Bank of Jamaica said this reflected an increase of 2.6 per cent or US$19.3 million in remittance inflows, partially offset by a 16.5 per cent or US$12.4 million increase in outflows.
