Scotiabank says six more branches to go digital this month

Scotiabank says another six of its locations islandwide will go digital this month as fewer customers do transactions in branch due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The bank says as at January, only five per cent of transactions were done in physical branches with the rest done either at ATMs or Point of Sale machines.

Scotiabank says the continued move towards digital branches does not mean it will do away with cash transactions, but customers can do these transactions at smart machines in each branch.
