Listed company Sweet River Abattoir says it's directors and major investors have expressed concerns about the auction of the company's facility, that took place on November 26 last year.
In a statement posted on the Jamaica Stock Exchange website, Sweet River said it is seeking guidance on the matter.
Last September, Sweet River Abattoir announced it was in divestment mode following years of operating at a loss.
Sweet River says the restructuring is almost complete.
However, it says recent events relating to the auctioning of the facility has delayed a formal announcement.
That is expected to be completed by the end of next month.
